Mission Statement
Pamela Wells Breast Cancer Foundation was founded by Nurses after a colleague lost her fight with breast cancer, leaving behind two daughter. The youngest was only 12 years old. The Foundation helps those patients diagnosed with abnormal breast findings to locate resources to assist with the burden of combating this disease. In addition, the Foundation provides free educational seminars to enhance the public's awareness of risk factors, healthy living, and life style modifications that can be incorporated to reduce the overall risks for developing cancers of all types.
About This Cause
PWBCF: Provides education/lectures on decreasing risk for cancer; assists patients diagnosed with breast disorders to locate resources for treatment; donates small grants (up to $500.00/per family) to patients diagnosed with cancer; C4C (Connections4Christ): Provides school and health resources to 150 Haitian children, enrolled in the Heart for the Children of Haiti (H4HC) program; a Haitian Christian Charity.
