About This Cause
501(c)3 Exotic bird rescue rehab and sanctuary. Education and volunteering, direct bird care, all things parrots..one never knows what they have gotten themselves into until they decide to be a Directors an volunteers of an exotic bird rescue. The work is amazing, sad, grueling, hot and never ending. There are really no down days. Life becomes all about their well being and care and constantly trying to explain to people what they are doing right to care for their birds but mostly what they are doing wrong. After many years in rescue we here at MARS as I am sure you can guess would not change what we do We love these amazing creatures. The people not so much. We will continue doing what we do as far into the future as we can but funding is a critical element.
