Ranked in the top 25% of all NYC middle schools, Equality Charter School is known for its ability to accomplish academic success for its diverse population, which includes 23% of scholars who have disabilities and 84% who qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Equality has been ranked the best middle school in Community School District 11 for both the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 school years. The school’s ability to close the achievement gap with its students is a testament to the incredible performance of both its faculty and scholars.
