Our mission is to provide older residents of San Francisco’s northeast corner with support as they age in place and opportunities to connect and engage.
About This Cause
NEXT Village SF is a neighborhood nonprofit founded in 2009 providing services and support that empower members to live independently in their own homes as they age. Through regular get-togethers, local field trips, assistance with errands and more, our volunteers and staff work together to enrich, enhance, and nourish the lives of seniors in our community. As a vibrant, growing network for aging adults in northeast San Francisco, NEXT Village SF is connection you can count on. At NEXT Village, we believe in the power of community to achieve society-wide change in the way we age. Everyday, we work to build caring communities that dignify aging and honor our desire to age in the place we call home. We are part of the nation-wide Village to Village Network, dedicated to improving the management of all villages, as well as the California Village Movement. We are also a member of CASE, Coalition of Agencies Serving the Elderly, and the SF Budget Justice Coalition.
