Our mission is to positively impact the lives of people by providing inspirational programs, assistance with food, school supplies, and personal items.
About This Cause
Agape Centric was established in 2012. We aid families in need in the La Porte, Texas area. We are in partnership with the City of La Porte, Communities in Schools, and local businesses. Through our partnership with Communities In Schools, underserved families are identified, needs assessed and various forms of help from us is dispersed. We host an annual Back to School event where we distribute bags filled with school supplies, to 700 students. During the Holidays, we give away 100 turkeys and baskets of food. We support "The Bridge Over Troubled Waters" shelter with a Christmas cheer event where we provide requested necessities, toys, and treats to all residents.
