Mission Statement
To bring glory to God as we connect pregnant women with resources to help break the cycle of poverty and improve pregnancy outcomes
About This Cause
We provide food, shelter and other basic necessities to pregnant women and their children who are in need. While living at the Mountain House the women are connected with resources to encourage healthy pregnancies and they are given assistance in finding employment. In addition, we help them overcome the common obstacles of childcare and transportation. We teach a class called Transformed which focuses on improved communication skills, conflict resolution, self awareness, and basic finances. We also enroll them in our steps for success program where we help them establish short term and long term goals as well as action steps to bring the goals to fruition.
