To inspire and engage all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
About This Cause
Since 1999, the Boys & Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation & Lake County in both Polson and Ronan Montana has been "inspiring and engaging all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens." The Club provides youth with a variety of enrichment programs as well as a critical safety net of services including the provision daily meals and snacks, with over 75,000 served this year. The Club is dedicated to the health and nourishment of the whole child. Our programming centers around three critical outcomes: Academic Success, Character & Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyles. Community partners include the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes (CSKT), local School Districts, Salish & Kootenai College, local hospitals and many other community organizations. The Club offers programs and activities that spark the interest of members and reflect the unique cultural heritage of the Flathead Reservation and its people.
