Our mission at Portland Ultimate is to foster growth in the sport of Ultimate through youth development and adult activities in the Portland Metro Area, to instill the spirit of sportsmanship at all levels of play, and to establish and maintain positive relationships with the community
About This Cause
Portland Ultimate focuses on growing Ultimate in the Portland, Oregon metro area. There is a specific focus on youth activities, growing leagues and camps, and increasing the number of kids playing in schools. Ultimate as a self-officiated sport provides valuable lessons on conflict resolution and leadership, using Spirit of the Game as a guiding principle elevating mutual respect and enjoyment of the game over winning and losing.
