Mission Statement

Kids Club After School Program's mission is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching out of school experience for the students and families of Stevens Elementary School and its surrounding area. Children engage in independent and group decision-making so that they may pursue and expand their interests and talents through a variety of activities. An evolving exploration of self and community encourages those participating in Kids Club to build relationships with peers and adults, explore diverse opportunities, and interact in a respectful and nurturing environment.

About This Cause

Kids Club After School Program is a small non-profit Community Based Organization aligned with the Seattle Public School District. We are a licensed school-age care program serving a diverse group of youth 5-12 years of age and their families in our Capitol Hill community. Our team of staff provide enrichment, social-emotional learning, and creative growth opportunities by encouraging exploration and engaging children in interactive, hands-on, educational play. Kids Club’s focus is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes inclusion, social-emotional skill building, and psychological well-being for both students and families. We build a supportive community through engagement and consistent communication available to all.
