Mission Statement
Ukraine Global Scholars is an education non-profit that finds talented Ukrainian high school students from modest backgrounds and helps them be admitted to and receive full financial support from world's top boarding schools and undergraduate programs with an ultimate goal of raising more global Ukrainian leaders in policy, business, science and other areas.
About This Cause
Ukraine Global Scholars is a non-profit venture founded by young Ukrainian alumni of top US boarding schools and colleges. UGS team members either graduated from or are currently enrolled at Harvard College, Yale College, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT. Many of the UGS team members also attended the selective Deerfield Academy, Choate Rosemary Hall, Phillips Academy Andover, Milton Academy, and St. Mark’s Schools. All UGS team members were fortunate to receive full scholarships to attend these institutions. UGS was founded with a mission to enable talented Ukrainian youth repeat the same journey and receive access to the world’s best education. Every year, UGS finds bright Ukrainian high school students and helps them be admitted to and receive full financial support from top schools. More specifically, following a 3-stage application process, UGS (1) leads a six-week online test prep boot camp, (2) conducts a 10-day camp covering the full cycle of the application process, (3) covers test and application fees, (4) provides continuous 1-1 mentorship support on personal development and career opportunities, and (5) advises on financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
