Mission Statement

The STEM Future Foundation has been created as a charitable and educational nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing disadvantaged children in under-resourced urban and rural communities access to high-quality education in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math). Our vision is to provide resources and sustainable solutions that help address global issues such as systemic poverty, crime reduction and work towards curing diseases such as COVID and cancer through the development of advanced STEM education for children. Today's children are the future inventors of new energy sources, discoverers of medical breakthroughs and innovations that will drive economic prosperity. Our goal is to bridge the educational achievement gap and diversify participation in STEM studies, especially for young girls, to afford all children the best opportunity to be prepared to compete for jobs in the future global economy.

About This Cause

The STEM Future Foundation helps our nation to build sustainable, happier, and healthier ecosystems where students and future generations are learning, thriving, and becoming more academically prepared to achieve careers in STEM. Our K-12 ‘WE ALL WIN WITH STEM!’ (WAWS!) Academic Achievement Program is a research-presentation modeled competition-based program that awards winners and their schools or nonprofit organizations prizes for program participation. The WAWS! Program operates four times a year, enabling students to compete and win prizes year-round. Announced quarterly is a STEM-centric theme for students to choose a career for their project presentation. In the first four weeks of each quarter, students expand their STEM knowledge through our curriculum of STEM lessons and activities. In the last four weeks, students are assessed on the material they learned during the first four weeks, begin research on the career of their choice and develop their presentation for completion. Once a winning presentation is selected locally within each participating school or nonprofit organization, the local champions will then move on to compete nationally to become the ‘WE ALL WIN WITH STEM!’ National Champion and be awarded the GRAND PRIZE winner!
