About This Cause

In 2016 we started at the high school level with the goal of building the program into middle and elementary school levels in the Beaverton School District. In addition to the student participants in grades K-12, each team will have a teacher/sponsor at their school. Adult mentors from local industries volunteer to assist with additional hands-on education in specific areas of expertise. Graduates and parent volunteers are also enlisted to assist where needed. Through various programs and projects, we intend to strengthen the educational foundation of students at a young age and influence their college career paths. We do this by fostering activities which develop mathematical expertise, design development, computer aided design, programming logic skills, team leadership, teamwork, competitive analysis, character, citizenship and business skills. Nearly 100% of our graduates attend college and pursue degrees in Biomedical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Aeronautical, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Graphic Arts, Computer Science/IT/Programming, Business, Medicine/Pharmacy and Robotics.
