Our mission is to empower students who want to make a difference in this world by giving them the tools to tackle real-world water issues collaboratively.
About This Cause
Elequa operates the Make Water program which encourages innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving through a STEM-based, hands-on curriculum that addresses real-world water issues. Participants receive and assemble the coagulator kit with the challenge to elevate, improve, or redesign its elements for greater efficiency. The challenge includes opportunities for teams to incorporate additional STEM-related skills, such as coding, 3-D printing, robotics, and alternative energies, in their designs and/or prototypes. Participants also learn about water issues that exist both domestically and abroad, and they’re challenged to think of themselves not only as students, but as global citizens seeking applicable solutions to real-world problems.
