To honor, recognize and support local not-for-profit organizations and to raise funds through a celebration of kindness to be distributed to selected nominated local NPOs that aid families in crisis.
About This Cause
Amy Logan founded the Kindness Gala Foundation in 2014 because of a desire to give back after her sister had been a recipient of several non-profit groups’ generosity while battling cancer, one of which was the 2017 recipient, Tinley Wish. Amy wanted more people to know that there are these fantastic groups within our own communities who help families in crisis and who give back the funding they receive directly to those in need. Although many charitable organizations are focused on research, which is needed, Amy’s goal with the Kindness Gala Foundation was, and is, to reach those who need immediate help right NOW. Every October, the Bolingbrook Golf Course in Bolingbrook becomes the glamorous venue for the annual red-carpet casino event hosted by The Kindness Gala Foundation. This highly anticipated gathering offers more than just a delectable three-course meal; it also provides a platform for local not-for-profit organizations to shine. Throughout the evening, the remarkable work of these organizations takes center stage, showcasing their impactful initiatives. Guests have the unique opportunity to personally engage with representatives from these organizations, fostering connections and creating lasting impressions. Renowned as one of the most exceptional events in the area, The Kindness Gala Foundation's soirée promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees. WHY GIVE TO THE GALA? The gala operates with exceptional efficiency, ensuring that every penny is allocated purposefully.
