Mission Statement

The mission of Helping Hands is to be a place where love can be realized through the gracious provision of emergency food and clothing for all those with real needs.

About This Cause

Helping Hands operates out of Sunset Church and began in 1996. Since that time, Helping Hands has grown into three programs: a food pantry, clothes closet, and the backpack program. These programs serve members of the Beaverton and Portland communities.
