Mission Statement
The organization rescues West Highland White Terriers and Westie mixes from all over Northern California and northern Nevada. The dogs are completely that it prior to adoption into loving forever homes.
About This Cause
We serve the Westie Rescue needs of Northern California from the Central Valley to the Oregon and Nevada Borders and to San Luis Obispo and Visalia to the south. We have rescued hundreds of Westies over the past 25 years and work with all area shelters. This all-volunteer rescue program exists to help West Highland White Terriers and for the purpose of rescuing surrendered, abandoned or stray Westies and finding them safe, loving and permanent homes. We endeavor to obtain all Westies in animal shelters, thus avoiding euthanasia. We also aid Westie owners in recovering lost or stolen pets. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation recognized by the West Highland White Terrier Club of America.
