To preserve the legacy of the historic Rosenwald Schools in Society Hill, South Carolina through the awarding of scholarships and supporting programs of the Rosenwald elementary school.
About This Cause
This organization is formed for non-profit charitable purposes. It is organized for purposes of serving as a historical society of the Rosenwald Schools founded in Society Hill, SC in 1930. It awards scholarships, serve as a repository for school memorabilia, and operate as an entity to preserve the legacy of this official South Carolina Historical Landmark. It will also function under the guidelines of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
