Mission Statement
The Triangle Society, Inc. (TTS) is a non-profit, community-based organization committed to preserving the legacy of Cass Technical High School (CT) by securing financial support for student organizations, athletic and academic programs which personify the Cass Tech Legacy of Excellence. The organization serves the 2,500-students at Cass Technical High School which consists of a diverse student population which has 56% of students in the low income and underserved bracket.
About This Cause
Some Have a Story but We Have a Legacy The Triangle Society, Inc. (TTS) was founded by H. Terri Berry and Monique Bryant on May 1, 2016. Both founders are 1986 alumni of Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. The group was formed after Monique and Terri began working with the Cass Tech Alumni Association to coordinate alumni centennial event activities. During this time, they noticed a great need to raise funds to support student activities at the school. It was obvious that there was an unmet need to provide for student programs at Detroit’s largest and most recognized high school. TTS was created to connect students to the resources needed to support the many student clubs, organizations, athletic and academic programs at Cass Technical High School and preserve the legacy of excellence the school is known for since 1907. Objectives: Provide student leadership opportunities to support student-led initiatives. Support unmet student program development needs of the underserved Cass Tech student community. Develop student/business partnerships for educational opportunities for students on an ongoing basis. Secure funding and other resources for student clubs/organizations and educational programs. Partner with Cass Tech administration to provide students opportunities to develop into successful leaders.
