About This Cause
CruzHacks is annual event where 500 students from across the nation descend to University of California, Santa Cruz for a weekend of building innovative hardware and software solutions. During the event, students are paired with industry sponsors to learn about job opportunities and be introduced to cutting edge technologies. Student's build products for 3 days, and on the last day they pitch their work to panels of judges of which winners are selected. This event is completely FREE for all participants and is financed from companies who pay to be exposed to young student talent. All food, technology, and sleeping amenities are provided at no charge to participating students.
