You're Just My Type is dedicated to redefining mental health support for people living with Type 1 diabetes. We create spaces—both in-person and virtual—where Type 1s can find community, share experiences, and feel truly understood. Our events aren’t just about connection; they’re about addressing the mental and emotional weight of diabetes in ways traditional healthcare often overlooks. By prioritizing mental well-being alongside physical health, we’re ensuring that no one has to navigate this journey alone.
About This Cause
You're Just My Type is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mental health of people living with Type 1 diabetes. Through in-person events, resources, and community-building, we create spaces where individuals can connect, share experiences, and find support. Our events provide a welcoming environment to navigate the emotional challenges of Type 1 diabetes while fostering meaningful relationships. We also offer virtual opportunities to stay connected beyond our gatherings. As we expand to new cities, our mission remains the same: to ensure that nobody living with type 1 diabetes feels alone.
