Mission Statement
Our mission is to assist animals in high kill shelters by changing their numbers to names and placing them with furever families. This is accomplished by helping the Butler County, Kansas, shelter as well as surrounding shelters find misplaced animals furever homes.
About This Cause
Heartstrings Animal Advocates is a charity in South Central Kansas that was established in June of 2016 out of necessity for animals in need. The founders had been working to save dogs and cats from euthanasia for years and decided forming a nonprofit to have more resources to help animals would be a smart move. Since it's inception, Heartstrings has adopted over 500 animals out that were saved from death row, networked and transported over 2,000 animals and continued with their mission today to "save animals in the Heartland and beyond.
