About This Cause
Roots Capoeira de Ouro is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that promotes health, builds community, and shares culture. Capoeira is a change agent, helping people breakdown barriers of the mind, body and spirit. This art form builds confidence, self-expression and strong bodies. Roots Capoeira offers free after school programming at an urban elementary school as well as affordable child and adult classes for the community.
