Mission Statement
At Farmaste Animal Sanctuary our mission is to change the lives of farmed animals by removing them from abusive situations, changing the perception the public has about them, and encouraging compassionate living.
About This Cause
We at Farmaste Animal Sanctuary believe that all animals have inherent worth, and that farm animals are not an exception to that rule. We work to rescue farm animals from cruelty situations, and bring them to our 28-acre farm in Lindstrom, MN. There they are allowed to roam in the pastures, and live out their days free from cruelty. Farmaste Animal Sanctuary also provides an opportunity for people to meet the animals and hear their stories through our scheduled farm visits, volunteer opportunities and animal assisted therapy sessions. We’re a nonprofit organization that is fully funded through donations. Donations help support our efforts to end farm animal abuse, and bring home more chickens, goats, sheep, pigs and cows to our Farmaste family.
