Mission Statement
Dementia Together® exists to help individuals, businesses, and organizations increase dementia-awareness and implement strategies so that, in our communities, “no one walking the dementia journey has to walk alone.”
About This Cause
Dementia Together® is an “in the meantime” nonprofit organization changing the culture of dementia care. We promote lifelong well-being for people living with dementia and their care partners. We help people discover that “in the meantime,” until cures for the various causes of dementia are found, we can make life-changing differences NOW so that living well with dementia becomes the expectation rather than the exception regardless of dementia progression. We leverage community resources, expertise, and activities; foster community collaboration and engagement; and provide education, life enrichment programs, and caregiving support where gaps existed.
