About This Cause
Based in Portland, Oregon, WaterStrong was founded in 2016 by environmental mediator / swimmer Dena Marshall. With a curriculum that balances water safety, swimming, environmental education and water stewardship, WaterStrong partners with community based organizations in waterside communities to deliver programming, lifejackets, lifelong learning and an indelible love for the water. As we care for the water, the water cares for us.
