Mission Statement
Save abused neglected, abandoned or otherwise homeless animals one at a time. We are 100% NO KILL rescue and volunteer based non profit organization and our long term goal is to get every animal a loving home
About This Cause
Wings of Heavens Gate No Kill Rescue and Shelter is a non profit organization established by four people who have big hearts and want to give every abandoned, neglected, abused or otherwise homeless animal a 2nd chance to have a great loving home. We take these animals into our private shelters and care for them, make sure they have food, water, loving environment and necessary medical care while awaiting their new forever home. We seek donations and have fundraisers to help with some of these expenses - we give our rescues only the best and when we take adoption applications we make sure the animals are placed only in an environment that will benefit them and make them happy. The expenses of food, housing, care and medical can be quite staggering at times- right now we have several "special needs" animals hat require extra care and are difficult to place but they are not placed until the right home is located. All personnel are volunteer we have no payroll overhead- the shelter is located on private land so we have no overhead for the shelter- that way more of our donated funds go directly to the care and upkeep of the rescues.
