Mission Statement
Hugs For Mito, Inc. is Mitochondrial Disease and Rare Disease ADVOCACY, AWARENESS and FUNDRAISING for research, trials, durable medical equipment and supplies hopefully a cure! Our goal is to touch as many lives as possible and in the most positive light. We educate the world as to what Mitochondrial Diseases and Rare Diseases are and what these diseases do to the individuals afflicted with them. We want to raise awareness of Mitochondrial Diseases and Rare Diseases domestically and internationally while fostering goodwill. We want to improve the quality of life for babies, children, young adults and adults battling Mitochondrial Diseases and Rare Diseases. We want to empower caregivers and provide appropriate resources and support.
About This Cause
My Book I'LL HAVE MINE RARE "Dare 2 B Diff" Does just that! A powerful story about rare diseases and embracing and appreciating the uniqueness in others. Raisin and Rosco are children that were born RARE. They have a Rare Disease and want to fit in and be accepted by other kids.
