Mission Statement

The Northeast Portland Tool Library is a 501(c)(3) organization. We provide residents of Northeast Portland with access to our collection of tools, regardless of their income level or ability to donate. In doing so we empower our neighbors to build and maintain a sustainable, thriving community.

About This Cause

Tool libraries are just like traditional libraries, but with tools instead of books. We help people gain access to tools that would otherwise be costly to buy or rent, take up valuable storage space, and sit idle most of the time.
