Mission Statement

Working to ensure advanced veterinary care is accessible to Washington pets, so that they might thrive and live healthy, happy lives with the people who love them

About This Cause

Our pets are an important and integral part of our lives. They not only provide unconditional love and companionship, but help reduce stress as well as increase social interaction and physical activity. For some individuals, their pets are their primary companions. Unfortunately, for many, the cost of providing even the most basic care for these companions is a financial hardship. The Rainier Animal Fund’s (RAF) goal is to help those who are unable to afford the full cost of advanced veterinary care for their pets. Qualifying western Washington residents will be able to access the RAF free “In-Service” surgical and advanced care veterinary clinics as well as apply for medical grants to assist with individual veterinary care on a case-by-case basis. RAF’s clinic services include senior exams, X-rays, advanced diagnostics, dental care, spays and neuters, mass removal, wound repair and other essential medical procedures and surgeries. Emergency and critical care and surgical treatments of some injuries and conditions to be reviewed and supported on a case-by-case basis.
