AT SPREAD THE VOTE, WE WORK EVERY DAY TO ENSURE THAT PEOPLE HAVE WHAT THEY NEED TO VOTE. 77% OF THE PEOPLE WE WORK WITH HAVE NEVER VOTED BEFORE AND 100% OF OUR CLIENTS CANNOT VOTE WITHOUT US.
About This Cause
Getting a government ID is time-consuming, challenging, and expensive- and critical to vote in states where voter ID laws often amount to voter suppression. Getting one is not something that can be done overnight, or the month before an election. So we work in communities every day to get the IDs we need to make an impact. Spread The Vote takes care of everything needed to get an ID, from obtaining and paying for documentation, paying all ID fees, providing transportation, and more. When an election draws near, we manage election education and make sure our voters get to the polls.
