Mission Statement
Providing essential services for the unhoused in the South West Corridor during the cold weather months, and referral services for the things we cannot provide directly.
About This Cause
The West Seattle Shelter is an all volunteer Cold Weather Emergency Shelter, operated by Westside Neighbors Network and the West Seattle Veteran Center, providing hot meals, overnight sleeping cots, shower, and laundry services to those in need in the West Seattle/Southwest corridor. We also provide socks, hats, and gloves, and basic First /aid as needed. The shelter currently operated from November through March as dictated by weather conditions. The rest of the year we are open three mornings a week to provide hot drinks and instant food items to the homeless population.
