Promote the welfare of America's equines through advocacy, education, supportive programs and rescue of America's unwanted horses.
About This Cause
US Horse Welfare and Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded to promote the safety and welfare of all equine to reduce and prevent them from going to slaughter. Our programs range from advocating through working with local enforcement agencies and legislators, educating the general public regarding the risk to our unwanted equines to actively rescuing equines from slaughter lots as well as back yard situation and placing them at our farm, in foster, or with another 501(c)3's horse rescue.
