Mission Statement
Hope for Harvest Youth Center provides services and programming designed to uplift, inspire and empower under-served and housing-insecure youth in and around the Charlotte community. Our organization equips young people with knowledge, resources, and experiences in order to explore personal and professional interests, set goals, and break the cycle of generational poverty.
About This Cause
Hope for Harvest Youth Center offers multiple services to underserved youth and families in the Charlotte community. Hope for Harvest Summer Camp offers quality sliding-scale programming to children ages 6 to 18 in the summer months. Activities include sports, team building, STEAM projects, eLearning, and field trips. Hope for Harvest Thanksgiving provides emergency goods to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness during the holiday season. The Winter Wishes program connects low-income children with donors known as "Hope Santas" to ensure that children receive holiday gifts. Hope for Harvest Afterschool programming matches students with volunteer tutors for homework help and academic assistance.
