ANGEL HANDS ART FOUNDATION

KANSAS CITY, Missouri, 64134-4056 United States

Mission Statement

AHAF began by raising money for March of Dimes for the March for Babies campaign. Savanna began selling painting as a way to raise money for her team (Savanna's Soldiers). AHAF is requesting donations and sponsorship it's first annual gala held July 14, 2017. at the Bruce R Watkins Cultural Heritage Center and State Museum. We are supported purely by donations and look forward to partnering with organizations that support our vision and desire to help children. The gala was an introduction to AHAF for those who had not heard of the organization and provide the history of the foundation to also gain potential donors. We will continue our mission to help marginalized children everywhere.

About This Cause

Angel Hands Art Foundation was created by (now 10 year old) Savanna Williams. Savanna was born premature weighing 1.15oz and has always participated in March of Dimes fundraisers. She began selling painting at the age 5 to raise money for her March for Babies team. Her first event raised more than $400 and it continued to grow each year. Angel Hands Art has raised money for multiple organizations that help marginalized children throughout the world including Ndyngera (Rescue Me) Foundation in Rwanda, St. Jude Childrens Hospital and other local charities in the Kansas City area. Future projects include hosting a free visual and performing arts workshop for students in the south Kansas City area between 4 school districts. The goal of the workshop is to get more students involved in the art and provide additional support to help develop the talents of others. We will continue supporting organizations that focus on helping children marginalized in any way using art as a leverage to the community.
