Mission Statement

In addition to educating the public about sarcoma cancers, Middle Finger to Cancer, Inc. will provide benevolent assistance to individuals coping with sarcoma cancers. More specifically, the organization will provide benevolent assistance to individuals either undergoing, or needing to undergo, extensive treatments of sarcoma cancers, including providing for overseas treatments not available in the United States. By doing so, MFC will work to support those who are battling sarcoma cancers, giving them the assistance they need to defeat their illness.

About This Cause

Recent studies show that one out of every three Americans will find themselves afflicted with some form of cancer in their lifetime, with sarcomas in the limbs being rare enough that they don't garner the attention and awareness of other cancers. Early detection is one of the biggest advantages to increase a patient's odds of a positive outcome, and education plays a major role in early detection. Middle Finger to Cancer, Inc. will work to arm medical professionals and patients alike with the information they need to battle sarcoma cancers. The organization will gather and present information about sarcoma cancers of the limbs. This information will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, treatment options, symptoms, and the availability of screening and treatment methods. MFC will host an annual educational program at a conference held for limb surgeons, sharing information on what sarcomas are, how they're treated, and the healing process following chemotherapy and other treatments. In addition to the educational conferences, the organization will share information via its website (currently under development). This material will be available to the general public, and will include the symptoms, treatment options, and recovery information of sarcomas of the limbs. Through both its conferences and website, the organization will work to help the general public and medical professionals know about the options for treating these cancers. There will be no charge for any of the organization's conferences or seminars. The organization will use its website (currently under development), social media, word-of-mouth, and networking throughout the medical community as its primary methods of program promotion.
