Mission Statement
Allegiance Ranch and Equine Rescue was born out of love for rescue horses and a desire to honor our country's veterans. Our mission is to help horses and heroes by offering a safe place for healing, developing a sense of purpose, and establishing meaningful connections between horses and humans.
About This Cause
At Allegiance Ranch, we strive to provide a safe and welcoming place for veterans, active duty military, first responders, and their families, to find release from every day challenges. We rely on donor support to ensure ongoing care and training for our rescued horses and offer our programs at no charge to these heroes. Horses and our heroes need a safe place for healing, a sense of purpose, and meaningful connections. Equine therapy and simply spending time with horses is an effective and impactful tool for veterans and first responders struggling with the the challenges of reentering the civilian world or symptoms of post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries. Allegiance Ranch and Equine Rescue provides a safe and welcoming environment for veterans, first responders, and their families, to spend time unstructured time together while learning about and spending time with horses and other ranch animals. We also offer programs such as riding lessons, horsemanship clinics, weekly therapeutic sessions, monthly gatherings, and more, but at no cost to participants. We are committed to providing an environment conducive to equine therapeutic services.
