Mission Statement
Powered by girls, created by women, we aim to cultivate an environment that encourages authenticity, individuality and verve. The foundation of our club is to embolden girls to be self-advocating, confident and fearless competitors who exercise leadership on the field and in their communities. Our staff is composed of top-level coaches who exhibit a passion for teaching lacrosse and create a space where confidence is beautiful.
About This Cause
Verve Lacrosse is a girls lacrosse program in Northern California that aims to empower girls through the sport of lacrosse. Our competitive lacrosse program is designed to build athletes into varsity level players who have a love of the sport and/or desire to play in college. Verve's mission is to grow lacrosse throughout the South Bay in Northern California and beyond by offering high quality coaching combined with an intention to embolden our girls to become confident and powerful athletes. In addition, Verve has created a philanthropic arm called Outreach Lacrosse for our underrepresented female youth in low income communities to bring lacrosse directly to their schools. We are currently providing a high quality lacrosse program for these girls without a financial requirement for their families funded solely through grants and donations. The Outreach Lacrosse program supports The McKinley Project (free/sponsored lacrosse program at McKinley Elementary in East San Jose), The White Team (sponsored full, high school lacrosse team supported by Verve each season) and The Scholarship Fund (private donations to support our girls in every Verve program from camps, clinics, competitive lacrosse teams and practice teams).
