Mission Statement
The mission of the Community shall be to help foster Nepali language, art, culture and provide a development forum for Nepali Diasporas and friends of Nepal and Nepali in the US. The organization is formed exclusively for charitable, cultural and educational purposes.
About This Cause
BAY AREA NEPALESE COMMUNITY IN FREMONT( BANCF): We believe, it is important to nurture our Nepali language, art and culture as well as it is our full responsibility to pass on those values to our future generation. BANCF is formed exclusively to save our identity, to bond Nepali communities and to thrive Nepali language and culture by educating children, celebrating cultural activities and raising fund for charitable causes in USA and abroad by collaborating with different national and international organizations. BANCF has been operating Nepali classes for children, organizing Nepali cultures and festivals throughout the year and involving in different social activities. We are determined to fulfill our mission and objectives to help not only Nepali community but also other local communities to bring unity, strength and prosperity in the society. We are looking into the future to bring more social activities which will benefit entire community by improving our resources by building our own Nepali Community Center. BANCF is fully registered in the state of California, recognized as charitable organization by DOJ and tax exempted by IRS under 501 (C) (3). Any donation or contribution to BANCF will be utilized for organization’s mission and will be tax deductible. The Activities of the Community are as follows: a) Children education to foster Nepali language, art and culture in the U.S. b) Organize and celebrate different cultural activities in the U.S. c) Help raise fund for charitable cause in the U.S. and abroad. d) Coordinate with both Nepali Associations and other relevant organizations in the U.S. for the purpose of fulfilling its objectives. Future plan of our organization: Our long term plan to build Nepalese community center is not far away from our thoughts. We are beginning to throw an idea of how we can build community center which will not only benefit the Nepalese community but bring about the human development of our growing kids in American soil. It will be an oasis of hopes for many families that are raising kids with limited resources at home. It will bring positive difference in the community by providing social, cultural, educational and recreational activities. Following are the activities that are thought out for the future to be implemented through Nepalese community center. • Nepali language school for kids • Spiritual center • Senior camp or socializing center • Kids camps • Auditorium
