Mission Statement
Summit Hunter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization initiated and established in May 2017 by a group of outdoor enthusiasts in the Great Seattle area. Our mission is to unite the Asian outdoor communities, to share knowledge and resources, to promote environmental sustainability and volunteerism. We also want to provide some mentorship to help our communities enjoy outdoors in a more sustainable way.
About This Cause
Summit Hunter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization initiated and established in May 2017 by a group of outdoor enthusiasts in the Great Seattle area. With gaining a lot of fun, energy and happiness in nature, we would like to share our gratitude, our appreciation and our concerns to all people who wants to enjoy the beauty outside. We want to share the mindset of "low impact", "wildness safety awareness" and "give back" and aim for building up a sustainable entertainments in the wild. Our Core Value: 1. We have Chinese publication which is usually sharing some outdoor tips, experiences and accident reports. 2. We organize volunteer trips, eg. stewardship in Mt. Rainier NP 3. We have knowledge sharing event: such as, how to maintain your skis and snowboard in a good condition; how to climb big wall.
