Mission Statement
Our mission is to elevate, amplify, and invest in Black and Brown women activists and organizers who are confronting and dismantling systemic inequities by leading social change and shifting power in their communities.
About This Cause
Wayfinder's work centers around amplifying the needs of Black and Brown communities and the importance of creating space for Black and Brown women of color activists and organizers to lead with authenticity, authority, creativity, and courage. Black and Brown women and mothers have borne the brunt of systemic injustices within public education and the criminal justice systems, but too often their voices, expertise, and ideas are not welcome at policy-making and decision-making tables. Wayfinder has the power and ability to create a pathway for robust and rigorous engagement of women on the frontlines of effecting social change and ushering in racial justice.
