Mission Statement
SDRT provides holistic academic support through one-on-one tutoring, enrichment activities and mentorship to students of refugee background in City Heights.
About This Cause
Provide tutoring services to children that have come to San Diego originally as refugees. Tutoring is done two evenings a week, and special events are held throughout the year to offer these children experiences that they would not otherwise be able to have. Our holistic approach allows for helping the families of these students as well and incorporating them in the educational process we are providing the children. Our tutoring program serves Kindergarten through college age students.
