Mission Statement

We are Dachshunds and Friends Rescue, a non-profit 501c3 dog rescue (IRS Employer ID Number 82-2130298). We believe in second and third chances for our pups. Every dog deserves a warm bed, a full tummy, a healthy mind and body and a loving family. We have a small group of dedicated volunteers who strive to ensure our dogs have the support they need during their transition to their forever homes. We are here for them emotionally and financially. We make every effort to give them all the medical care required. Our Mission is to save lives, one dog at a time.

About This Cause

We are a foster based rescue that focuses on Dachshunds but we have also saved many "friends". We do not shy away from medical needs or training, when we take a dog into our rescue we support the dog and adopter for the life of the animal.
