Mission Statement
The purpose of Emmaus Road Baptist Church is to bring glory to God by conducting a local assembly in accordance with the Bible; by promoting and providing an opportunity and/or place where we can assemble together for the purpose of worshipping our God; edifying believers; serving and fellowshipping together; preaching/teaching the whole counsel of God; administering the ordinances and Biblical discipline; disseminating the Gospel and making disciples both at home and abroad of all people groups; earnestly contending for the Faith; providing educational opportunities as necessary to ensure our children will be brought up in accordance with the Bible; and maintaining a good testimony for the Lord Jesus Messiah in our community by godliness and good works.
About This Cause
Our church endeavors to minister to our community in the following ways: - by providing a place for worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. - by provinding a community of faith to encourage one another in the difficulites of life. - by providing counseling for those in spiritual and emotional need. - by providing for the physical needs of the community through a bi-weekly food distribution. -by providing college scholarship money for the children of our members which intend to pursue a life of Christian ministry but lack the funding necessary for Christian college. - by promoting a lifestyle of excellent, moral virute which mirrors that of Jesus.
