About This Cause
The Sun Rae Foundation supports pediatric, extended admission patients via the donation of age appropriate products that enable connection, normalcy, and the comfort of routine. Support of family members includes meal gift cards, gas cards, ride share credits, and access to local fitness clubs with gyms, pools, classes, and recreational facilities. We're inspired by the response to date and eager to expand our reach to support many more children and their families. During our numerous trips to Nemours AI Dupont Children's Hospital we were lucky enough to be supported by an amazing staff of Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Clerks, and more. In addition to these wonderful people, the Child Life Program program helped us cope with medical experiences, stay active in Olivia's care, and make the entirety of each admission as pleasant as possible. Their combination of play, preparation, and education, along with the regular donations and gifts empowered us even during the toughest times.
