About This Cause
The Ocean Lab serves as a technological bridge between ocean science expeditions and global classrooms, linking them via live-streaming video and cutting edge technology to give children a front row seat to researchers working on location. We create between four and six live-streamed special events that allow students to interact and learn from some of the world’s foremost experts on marine creatures and environments. Every day, all around the world, explorers are learning new things about the ocean and we want students to be able to connect with scientists first hand. We have established relationships with marine biologists, oceanographers, film-makers and ocean scientists that allow us to bring students in Kindergarten through 8th grade on site virtually.
