Mission Statement
The Assurant Cares Employee Support (ACES) Fund provides emergency financial assistance to Assurant employees who encounter extraordinary hardships due to catastrophic natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires or similar circumstances beyond their control or the control of their families and an unforeseen, life-altering medical illness or injury.
About This Cause
Assurant employees worldwide step up to help others protect what matters most. Unfortunately, sometimes our colleagues must do so while also dealing with personal tragedies caused by natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, tornados or other destruction beyond their control and an unforeseen, life-altering medical illness or injury. Through the Assurant Cares Employee Support (ACES) Fund, employees affected by catastrophes may be able to receive emergency financial assistance to help them recover. As an independent, 501c3 charity, the ACES Fund was formed and announced by Assurant leadership in the aftermath of the unprecedented series of hurricanes and earthquakes in 2017. The ACES Fund Board of Directors is comprised of diverse leaders from across the enterprise with supporting processes in place to oversee and operationalize this special emergency charitable fund to help employees affected by natural catastrophes.
