Mission Statement
The Dimples Dental Suite Foundation is committed to advancing oral health equity by serving the most vulnerable residents of Washington, DC. We focus on targeted programs such as our Homeless Giveback initiative, scholarships for aspiring dental professionals, and school-based oral health education. Our mission is to eliminate barriers to dental care through direct service, outreach, and advocacy. We partner with shelters, schools, and community organizations to deliver compassionate, culturally competent care where it’s needed most. By combining clinical expertise with community service, we aim to inspire healthier habits and brighter futures. Rooted in service and social impact, the Foundation continues to build smiles, confidence, and opportunity—one program at a time.
About This Cause
The Dimples Dental Suite Foundation, established in 2017, serves as the philanthropic extension of Dimples Dental Suite with a mission to promote oral health equity across the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Founded by Dr. Takeisha Presson, the Foundation was born out of a deep commitment to serving historically underserved communities who often face systemic barriers to dental care. Recognizing that oral health is a critical component of overall well-being, the Foundation aims to close the gap between need and access by delivering compassionate care, education, and support directly to those most at risk—regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. The Foundation’s key programs include its flagship “Homeless Giveback” initiative, which provides dental hygiene kits, meals, and essential resources to unhoused individuals throughout the city. In addition, the Foundation proudly offers scholarships to students from underrepresented backgrounds who are pursuing careers in dentistry and public health, thereby fostering the next generation of providers committed to service and equity. Another cornerstone of the Foundation’s work includes school-based outreach, where youth receive preventive oral health education, free dental screenings, and tools to maintain healthy smiles early in life. Each of these programs is designed not only to meet immediate needs but to promote long-term health, dignity, and empowerment. With a strong belief in community-first service, the Dimples Dental Suite Foundation continues to grow its impact through strategic partnerships, volunteer-driven efforts, and a vision for a healthier, more just future.
