Mission Statement
God's Blessings Plan is a nonprofit organization and our mission is to show the love and compassion of Christ to our local communities through strategic outreaches and programs, designed to meet needs and leave people with a sense of love and dignity without discrimination. We provide food, toys for children during the holidays, toiletries, coats, back to school supplies, diapers, wipes, menstrual products and disaster relief. Our vision is to be a beacon of light, hope and equality for the underserved and underrepresented throughout the world.
About This Cause
We currently have two outreaches that span across Long Island: 1. The Holiday Blessings Tour is our annual outreach to children and families in the areas of greatest need in Suffolk County. The Tour happens every Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas and provides basic necessities such as food, toiletries, undergarments, diapers, wipes, feminine hygiene products, toys and coats. We also coordinate with local nonprofits and healthcare service providers to bring awareness to additional resources that families can rely on throughout the year. Some resources include assistance with paying utility bills, health screenings and flu shots, substance abuse assistance and Narcan training, SNAP assistance and more. 2. The Blessing Initiative is our charitable outreach and provides food, toys for children during the holidays, blessings bags filled with toiletries and seasonal necessities, and disaster relief. Our outreach team has also partnered with other nonprofits to provide coats, clothing and shoes to women in domestic violence shelters as well as family shelters, schools and churches. Our services are open to all people, no matter their religious background, and we do not push any religious point of view on anyone. The way we interact with those around us speak louder than words ever could.
