Mission Statement
The Club exists to promote charitable, educational and athletic purposes by implementing and conducting for Portland & Surrounding Cities select boys basketball program (Program) to teach good sportsmanship and youth character and provide exposure nationally. (PrepHoops) to promote the development of boys basketball players for play at a National Level. International Elite to provide superior coaching and high level competition as a means of developing individual player and team basketball skills.
About This Cause
International Elite is based on the idea of traveling around the country and playing AAU on a National level, giving youth the best exposure to prolong their abilities in college. IE partners with community colleges strength coaches to encourage members to value strength and conditioning as a way to improve basketball skills and overall health and fitness. IE uses basketball as one tool to improve young players on and off the court but also focuses on development approaches away from the game including a summer reading assignments. IE coaches are passionate about basketball, teaching and mentoring. They coach at the collegiate level and have coached, trained, and mentored top local, regional and national players including athletes now competing at the Division I level & NBA. IE coaches have a documented record of improving players and teams in a challenging, rewarding and fun environment.
