NATIONAL MEMORIAL TO THE WOMEN WHO WORKED ON THE HOME FRONT FOUNDATIO

WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, 20007-2732 United States

Mission Statement

Sad fact: Of 44 memorials in the National Mall space in Washington, DC, only two include women; we have the legislation to change that. We are building a memorial to the women who worked on the home front during WWII. Codebreakers, pilots, machinists, butchers, engineers, lumberjacks, riveters, farmers and more, over 18 million American Women kept the home front running in support of the World War II effort. Our mission is to build a National Memorial in Washington, DC in honor of these women and their service to our nation. These women were not only instrumental in the war effort, but they showed the world what women were capable of, changing the path for future generations. The memorial will be funded entirely by private and corporate donations. We need your support. They did it for us, now we need to do it for them!
